Sean McRee, LCSW
Therapist
I’ve always been fascinated by the infinite ways with which biological, psychological, and social factors intersect to make up our lives; creating both barriers and opportunities for happiness. I started my career by working with at-risk youth in therapeutic homes, and eventually transitioned to providing psychotherapy and counseling to people of all ages. I graduated from The Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in 2009, and am now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New York. Since beginning my career over 15 years ago, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with adults, children, and families towards realizing their true potential. I feel incredibly grateful for having had these experiences, and look forward to continuing this work with you.
I believe that self-care is extremely important; both for stress relief and for my own sense of well-being. Personally, I play music, go to shows, and generally get outside as much as I can. I find these outlets to be essential, and I strongly advocate that you make similar time for yourself, in whatever way most speaks to you!
